Craft Fair Rookey

Last weekend my dear friend Tanya talked me into sharing a table with her at the Willow Park Church craft fair. It was so much fun! I came away totally inspired by other local artisans, and sold almost all of my products.

I managed to capture a few pictures of people who bought some of the items...

Thanks everyone, especially Tanya and my husband Owen for supporting me!

Addicted to soothers

If your babies are anything like mine were, a soother holder is a necessity. Now they can be just that much cuter too!

in elephant,

flower power, and,

of course, froggy!

Custom hats for kids

"He's a cute little turtle..."

"What a monkey!"

"Can I be Diddy Kong from Mario Kart?"

"Mom, I want to be an octopus..."

"I love tigers-or was that cats?"

"FROGGY!"

"It's a caterpillar birthday party ;)"

Any other requests???

Variations on a theme...

So the hat evolved...and it seemed that it developed a fan club!

Kids sized, in 100% cotton with a more fitted shape and smaller brim:

Super slouchy with antique floral brooch:

In bulky 100% wool, snuggly fitted:

So, whatever your fancy, it can happen with this beauty!
Pick your colour, slouch factor, brim style, ornamentation and let's talk...

The hat that started it all...

Made to hide those bad hair mornings as you rush out the door to take kids to school, this hat was an instant fav around my house. It reminds me of something Elizabeth Bennet would wear - romantic yet sassy at the same time.

This is the original design: a somewhat slouchy newsboy style hat with a firm brim and a crocheted flower. Many variations will come in posts following...
